CACHE to Host Third Annual Benefit Fundraiser

Exeter, Ca – The Center for Art, Culture, and History—Exeter (CACHE) will be hosting its third annual benefit fundraiser. This year’s theme will be a scintillating Monarch Murder Mystery Dinner Theater on Saturday, October 25, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

We are collaborating with local Exeter musician Houston Hoellwarth to bring the community a unique, interactive murder mystery dinner theater. The dramatization will be held outside of the CACHE building, and B Street will be closed off to allow dining tables to be set up on the street. In addition to the scheduled entertainment, the event will serve killer barbecued ribs and scandalous drinks—all guaranteed to make your blood curdle!

The unveiling of a new pioneer history exhibit will also be featured, and exciting silent and live auction items will be up for bid during the benefit fundraiser. The live auction items will include a 3-day, 2-night stay in Cayucos; a picnic on Rocky Hill; an original painting by Martin Weekly; and a guided bird hike. If you are interested in donating auction items to CACHE, please contact Linda Gill at 559-300-4900.

CACHE is currently seeking actors for the one-time theatrical performance of the Monarch Murder Mystery. It is a sports-themed comedy written for a mature audience. All characters are super animated and larger than life. Theater experience and improvisation skills are preferred but not required. For more information, including character breakdowns, please contact CACHE.

Tickets cost $75 per person or $800 for a sponsored table of eight. They will be available for purchase at CACHE, Exeter Chamber of Commerce, NSE Insurance, or on our website at https://cach-exeter.org/event/monarch murder-mystery-benefit-dinner-theater.

For more information, contact us at info@cach-exeter.org or 559-592-5900.
